The 33rd & Dauphin Bus Loop will be under construction from September 4, 2012 until January 2014. During this time, Bus Routes 7, 39<\/strong> & 54 <\/strong>will temporarily relocate to Cecil B. Moore Bus Loop<\/strong> located at 33rd St. & Cecil B. Moore Ave<\/strong>.

Limited service (towards Broad & Snyder) to hotels along Industrial Highway will be provided as follows:<\/p>\n

Service going towards Parkside Loop will operate around the construction with detour stops on Huntingdon St. at Richmond, Edgemont, & Thompson Sts. and on Aramingo Ave. at Cumberland St., York St., & Delaware & Columbia Aves.<\/p>\n

Service on Richmond St. between Cumberland & Beach Sts. and Beach St. to Delaware Ave. will be discontinued during this detour.<\/p>\n

The construction is expected to last for approximately 2 years and Routes 15 and 43 service will be detoured during this time<\/p>\n

40th Street Bridge Reopening - Regular Route 38 & 40 Routing Resumes<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t

Effective Sunday, November 25, 2012<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t

With the re-opening of the 40th Street bridge over Amtrak, Route 38 and Route 40 service changes will be as follows:<\/p>\n

Route 38<\/strong><\/p>\n

Route 38 will resume its regular routing via 40th Street.<\/p>\n

Eastbound service will return to its regular routing via 40th Street.<\/p>\n

Westbound service will continue its present detour around the closed 41st Street bridge via Left on Mantua Avenue, Right on 42nd Street, Right on Girard Avenue and Left on 41st Street where it will resume its regular route.<\/p>\n
